Magnolia Market at the Silos is an adaptive reuse of a historic industrial grain complex in downtown Waco, transformed into a destination retail, bakery, and event campus anchored by the iconic Brazos Valley Cotton Oil Company silos.
Texas Asbuilts provided architecture and as-built services for the redevelopment of the historic warehouse and silo complex into a mixed retail and gathering campus. The work preserved the industrial character of the original 1950s structures, including the corrugated steel silos that have become a recognized landmark for the city.
The campus blends an updated main retail warehouse, the Silos Baking Co. pastry shop in a restored brick building, an open lawn with garden beds and seating, food truck areas, and rooftop event terraces. Existing steel framing, masonry walls, and silo structures were stabilized and reused wherever possible to keep the project grounded in its industrial roots.
